Taqueria La Morenita is a small food truck parked at 2005 1/2 Broadway Blvd in Magnolia Park, one of Houston's oldest Mexican-American neighborhoods. We're not trying to reinvent the taco — we're trying to make it the way it's supposed to be made.
That means a hot plancha, fresh tortillas, fillings cooked through the day — pastor, chicharrón in salsa verde, fajita — and prices that respect working people. It's why the truck has racked up more than 150 reviews from East End neighbors, and why the line doesn't stop when the bars close. We're open until 2 or 3 in the morning most nights, feeding the late shift, the night owls, and everyone in between.
